چکیده

Sea ice in the polar oceans is a dynamic and challenging environment for life to survive, with extreme gradients of temperature, salinity nutrients etc., as well formation crystals. Bacteria surviving sea attract broad attention from academia industry, due fascinating mechanisms adaptation. Here we described complete genome sequence Marinomonas arctica BSI20414, isolated Arctic ice. The strain tolerated high low temperature. Genetic features commonly related adaptation oxidative stress, osmotic stress cold were detected genome. In addition, large adhesion protein containing putative antifreeze (AFP) domain was genome, similar giant AFP MpIBP M. primoryensis. presence could facilitate BSI20414 bind favorable conditions protect it freezing. reported here can provide insights into be explored further biotechnological applications.

Complete genome sequence of Marinomonas bacteriophage P12026.

Members of the genus Marinomonas in the Gammaproteobacteria are broadly distributed in marine environments where they could be infected by bacteriophages. Here we report the genome sequence of bacteriophage P12026 that can lytically infect bacterial strain IMCC12026, a member of the genus Marinomonas. To our knowledge, this is the first genome sequence of a lytic bacteriophage infecting the gen...

Complete genome sequence of Lutibacter profundi LP1T isolated from an Arctic deep-sea hydrothermal vent system

Lutibacter profundi LP1T within the family Flavobacteriaceae was isolated from a biofilm growing on the surface of a black smoker chimney at the Loki's Castle vent field, located on the Arctic Mid-Ocean Ridge. The complete genome of L. profundi LP1T is the first genome to be published within the genus Lutibacter. L. profundi LP1T consists of a single 2,966,978 bp circular chromosome with a GC c...
